Chronic Medical Care
We’re capable of coordinating preventive care including treatment of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, Type 1, and 2 diabetes. Dr. Stemmerman excels in treating thyroid disease. That is to say, Infinity Medical Clinic can treat any combination of chronic medical conditions.
Preventative Healthcare
Annual appointments provide the opportunity to discuss any issues you may be having and ask questions to your doctor. Depending on your age, your doctor can discuss many issues including menstrual difficulties, menopause, hormone therapies, birth control, pregnancy plans, and problems with intimacy.
We perform women’s physicals. These exams include Pap Smears and breast exams. Our exams are part of our comprehensive women’s health care management. We also perform men’s annual work physicals. However, Infinity does not offer DOT physicals
Physicals
Dr. Stemmerman performs annual physicals for adolescents and adults. Adolescent physical exams are required to participate in sports. In addition, in many districts, they’re required to attend school.
Adult physical exams are highly beneficial because of the preventative health benefits provided. Some adults only visit the doctor when they’ve become ill. Therefore, they’re risking missing out on age-appropriate health screenings, immunizations, and vaccines. All of these can help prevent significant health issues. Regardless of age, it’s never too late to start getting physical exams again.
In-House Lab Work
As an outpatient family medical clinic, we offer in-house lab work. Our capabilities include strep screens, urine analysis, flu testing, pregnancy testing, and routine blood work. Lab work is processed in our office. However, sometimes we send labs to a contracted outside the laboratory. This allows us to minimize turnaround time for certain types of testing and get you the accurate results you need. We’re able to reduce turnaround time to 1-2 days for all routine blood work.
